By Road from:

THE SOUTH
Leave the A1 ‘Western Bypass’ at the A69/A186 slip road turning right (3rd exit) onto the A186 towards Newcastle City Centre. Go straight over the next roundabout (Denton Hotel on your left) and up the bank (you will pass St Cuthbert’s House just before the brow of the hill). Continue past the Fox & Hounds Pub and Citroen Garage to the mini roundabout at the A186/B1305 junction, double-back right round the roundabout to enable a left-hand turn after the shops. The entrance to “St Cuthbert’s House, 391 West Road”  is at the bollard immediately before the 40 mph sign.

THE NORTH
Leave the A1 ‘Western Bypass’ on the A69/A186 slip road turning left at the roundabout (1st exit) onto the A186 towards Newcastle City Centre, and follow directions as above.

Note: Car drivers coming from the West to the building along The West Road cannot turn right into the entrance. Please continue on to the mini-roundabout on the A186, near Fox & Hounds Pub, and drive right around the roundabout to enable a left hand turn into the signposted entrance.

By Rail:

Newcastle Central Station is situated in the Southern end of the City Centre close to St. Mary’s R.C. Cathedral and is the nearest mainline station. It is approximately 5 miles East from St. Cuthbert’s House. From Newcastle Central Station you can take a taxi or bus to your destination.

By Air:

Newcastle Airport is situated approximately 6 miles North of Newcastle and St. Cuthbert’s House. There is a Metro train station at the Airport and the nearest train station to St. Cuthbert’s House is Newcastle Central Station where you can take a taxi or bus to your destination.
